Free Consultation/Demonstration on 3D Scanning/Printing/Reverse Engineering/Inspection by UK Leading Engineers

Mintronics will be hosting an exclusive surgery on the 4th of March for engineering companies to present their manufacturing or engineering problems, who will leave with a 3D scanning and/or reverse engineering solution.

Every company that attends will have access to advice from some of the UK’s leading experts in 3D scanning/printing, reverse engineering and inspection. For those with a particular manufacturing problem, the Mintronics team will scan their product and give them a workflow pack and STL files that can be used at a later date.

The team will also provide expert advice on their 3D technology software solutions.

There are many uses and applications for 3D scanning, 3D printing, reverse engineering, and inspection covering a range of diverse industries, including automotive, aerospace, healthcare, marine and other advanced engineering sectors.

On the day the expert Mintronics team will talk through the processes involved and provide advice on the best solution available for your application. These techniques are especially useful for those seeking to explore new markets or improve on existing workflow. Bring your parts to scan and explore the full reverse engineering process with the Makerbot Method series 3D printer.

Simon, M, who went to the last event just in December, said: “I attended  so that I could get some hands-on experience with the scanners and software. It was fascinating to see how seamless the transition was from having a physical component to scanning it and manipulating it on screen.

“Having the products presented by people who use them daily in a work context was also excellent as I felt I got a far more representative "real world" use case rather than merely a sales pitch.

“It was also very interesting seeing the wide array of various problems other attendees had brought that scanning was capable of solving; from medical, mechanical, oil industries and even jewellery; I found it very informative to see the scope of solutions 3D scanning offers beyond my own field of automotive and motorsport use”

Tom Minto, Customer and Product Manager at Mintronics Ltd, added: “3D scanning, reverse engineering and inspection offers huge potential by providing value-for-money powerful software solutions which allow engineering businesses to unlock efficiencies and workflow. We are really pleased to be able to run this event to help engineering and manufacturing sectors.”

The event will be held at oasis school of human relations - Hall Mews, Clifford Rd, Boston Spa, Wetherby LS23 6DT. The start time is 9:00am and run until 12:00pm.
