Stay In Sync With Minimotor DBSE

DSC_0248.jpg

Gearboxes in packaging, food & beverage, labelling and pharmaceutical machinery are subject to sudden speed changes and format changeovers are often required – which take time and cost money.

The DBSE Motors

Mini Motor’s DBSE brushless servomotors with integrated drive and planetary reduction gear are very well suited to these sectors, and can reduce machine downtime to a minimum.
With CSP (Cyclic Synchronous Positioning), they are able to move independently or in a synchronised manner, depending on what the process requires.

All models are implemented with the new ‘open’ platform which permits configuration with these primary protocols: CANopen, EtherCAT, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Powerlink.

ADVANTAGES OF THE DBSE MOTORS

Machine downtime is reduced to the bare minimum

  • Efficient and compact

  • Fewer individual cable runs

  • Allow highly precise operations

  • Up to 36.5Nm

  • Open bus protocols

  • Reduce machine build components

MINI MOTOR'S DBSE MOTORS USED BY EMMEGI

Based in Italy, Emmegi are a leader in the design, production and sale of aluminium, light alloy, PVC and steel profile machining systems. They use Mini Motor’s series of DBSE brushless motors to drive vice clamps in their top-class Satellite XTE and Comet R6 I 5-axis CNC machining centres.

This means that the machining centres can be used in a dynamic twin operation, with the clamps being automatically positioned at the same time as the machining processes in the opposite working field. This has the enormous advantage of minimising time-consuming machine stops for set up and clamp positioning.

OEM Automatic can supply a wide variety of DSB Servomotors from Mini Motor. For more information get in touch with our Motors team: motors@oem.co.uk
