The Engineering Services Division of SPP Pumps Limited is a global business that can repair or refurbish any piece of rotating equipment and associated ancillary equipment, no matter what make, model or size.

The Engineering Service Division operates Five regional service centres across the UK at Coleford, Hyde, Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Belfast.

In addition, the Engineering Services Division has field service support through a team of specialist highly trained service engineers.

Specific Services Offered are: -

•          Replacement pumps

•          One of the largest OEM test facilities in Europe -Pump performance testing– rigorous duty tests, Energy Efficiency tests and much more.

•          Pump alignment using the latest laser technology.

•          Pump upgrades and refurbishment

•          Rotating equipment repairs (Fans Gearboxes, Mixers, Screens)

•          Replacement valves, valve repairs, certification, and testing

•          Machining & welding facilities

•          Re-engineering and casting – using 3D Laser capture technology to copy and manufacture any component as an exact replacement

•          Protective coatings – applying specialist coatings to repair, protect and improve the longevity of existing and new pump casings.

•          Pump performance testing, monitoring, and root cause analysis

•          Re-rating and system optimisation – to reduce energy costs and increase service life

•          Hydraulic Modelling and Computational Fluid Dynamics (“CFD”) Analysis – for optimising pump efficiency and performance.

•          Hydraulic and structural calculations.

•          Specialist material upgrades – using in-house design capability to increase longevity of rotating equipment with both metallic and non-metallic substrates

•          Design upgrades

•          Site installation and commissioning

•          Fire pump service contracts – including planned contractual maintenance, technical performance analysis, control cabinet upgrades and repair, and remote monitoring

•          Technical advice and support for all pumping systems (including SPP product support).        

75% of all Pumps & Valves overhauled in our service centres are Non SPP products.
